Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of material handling and industrial equipment at customer locations.
This role is for a technician who can troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, think independently, and take ownership of repairs from start to finish.
Equipment We Service:
- Forklifts (electric, LP, diesel)
- Reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks
- Aerial lifts and scissor lifts
- Industrial batteries and chargers
- Dock equipment (levelers, doors, restraints)
- Sweepers and scrubbers
- Specialty warehouse equipment
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and service manuals
- Perform engine, drivetrain, brake, hydraulic, and electrical repairs
- Troubleshoot using diagnostic software and multimeters
- Complete accurate digital work orders
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle
- Assist with warranty documentation when required
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in industrial equipment, diesel, heavy equipment, or similar field
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Hydraulic system knowledge
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Clean driving record
- Professional attitude and customer communication skills
