Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their stay. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with a warm welcome
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Process reservations and manage room assignments
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
- Perform night audit duties as needed
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual abilities are a plus (bilingual in [LANGUAGE] preferred)
- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality management principles
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations calmly
- Proficiency in computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
