Responsibilities: Inspects and verifies that cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies meet engineering and program requirements. Visually and physically inspects production work and documents outcomes.
Successful applicant will verify that product quality is in accordance with IPC/WHMA 620 workmanship standards and built according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Must be able to read and interpret engineering documentation and specifications. Experience performing AS9102 First Inspection Reports is a plus. Must be able to enter inspection data and defect information into a computer database. 2 years of experience in inspecting or assembling cables or wire harnesses is required. IPC certification at company expense will be required. Kinney works a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off and on the other Fridays, the shift ends at noon.
