We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented To-Go Specialist and Hostess to join our team.
Position Overview:
The To-Go Specialist is the first point of contact for guests placing takeout orders. This role is responsible for ensuring each order is taken, processed, and packaged with accuracy and care, while providing excellent customer service. The position also supports the restaurant team with additional tasks as needed.
The Hostess is the first point of contact for anyone coming into the restaurant. This role is responsible for ensuring each reservation is scheduled on our seating chart map, seating guests, providing water and letting waitresses know that they have tables. This position also supports the restaurant team with additional tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and take to-go orders accurately.
- Enter orders into the POS system with attention to detail.
- Ensure all to-go orders are packaged correctly and neatly.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to confirm order details.
- Provide friendly, professional service to all guests.
- Assist with light cleaning, organizing, or other support tasks as necessary.
- Follow restaurant policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, Wednesday through Saturday.
