Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Assisted Living Administrator to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals in an assisted living facility. The primary purpose of an Assisted Living Administrator is to manage and oversee the daily operations of an assisted living facility. This includes managing staff and overseeing the delivery of services to residents. The Administrator is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the residents and staff and ensuring the facility meets all regulatory compliance standards. Additionally, an Assisted Living Administrator is responsible for creating an atmosphere of respect and dignity for residents, and for providing support, guidance, and assistance to residents, families, and staff. The Administrator must have a valid state license, extensive experience in senior care, and knowledge of facility management and healthcare regulations. The Administrator is expected to provide compassionate, high-quality care to all residents and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
Duties:
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and programs for the operation of the assisted living facility
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating personnel
- Ensure residents' safety, health and well-being
- Maintain records, licensures and certifications
- Set example of leadership and work ethic within teams/departments.
- Be available to staff and residents to make important decisions at all hours.
- Interact with residents and their families and other members of the healthcare team
- Provide direction to staff regarding resident care and services.
- Ensures a safe and healthy working and living environment
- Ensure Compliance with all State & Regulatory Agencies Policies and Procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an assisted living administrator or similar role in the state of Florida
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards for assisted living facilities
- Bachelor's Degree/ BSN or RN
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy
- Administrator works through the facility and should be able to bend, lift, sit, stand, and move frequently throughout the shift; works regularly scheduled shifts with possible weekends, holidays, and other hours based on resident needs
