American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring at least 1 year of experience, with night shifts and Level 1 experience required.

Pediatric ICU (PICU) unit in a hospital setting
-
12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
-
Level 1 experience required
-
CVICU and NICU experience is preferred
-
Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or eNLC compact license) currently in hand
-
Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Level 1 facility experience required

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Responsibilities include assuming care for an assigned patient group, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, and collaborating with physicians

Communicates care plans and discharge instructions with patients and families

Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff and makes referrals to appropriate personnel as needed

Compliance requirements (drug screening, background check, medical requirements) must be initiated immediately upon acceptance of an offer

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after 26 cumulative weeks before being eligible for a new contract
