The Recreation Services Superintendent must have a passion and vision for recreation programming, exceptional customer service, and a commitment to leadership while serving the community. Areas of responsibility include athletics, aquatics, community centers, and recreation programming. The Recreation Services Superintendent will receive general direction from the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation while exercising direct supervision over assigned staff.
Completion of a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a parks and recreation agency, or in direct relation to providing recreation services, including one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
Valid Current Driver's License
Physical Exam Required
Must be a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) through the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), or have the ability to obtain this certification within one (1) year.
