Work Schedule: Positions Supervised:
8 a.m. to 5:30 pm Monday- Thursday.
8 a.m. to 12:00 pm on Friday. However, adjustments in
schedule or additional hours may be required to complete duties.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Human Resources Coordinator provides strategic and operational leadership for all HR functions across assigned locations. This role ensures compliance with employment laws and organizational policies while supporting workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, and a high-quality, patient-centered culture aligned with Mainline Health Systems, Inc. (MHSI). The Human Resources Regional Coordinator is involved in continuous Quality Improvement practices and measures as set by Mainline Health Systems, Inc. and in which the practice focus is based on a Patient Centered Medical Home model of care.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the primary HR advisor to regional leadership on employment law, policies, and best practices

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations

Review and guide hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations

Lead investigations into employee relations issues (e.g., grievances, harassment, discrimination)

Maintain oversight of credentialing and personnel records

Strong knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of discretion and professionalism

Strong organizational and analytical abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a healthcare environment
Employee Relations & Organizational Support

Counsel managers on performance management, supervision, and conflict resolution

Facilitate resolution of employee complaints and grievances

Oversee disciplinary processes and workplace investigations
-
Promote a professional, compliant, and respectful work environment
Talent Acquisition (Recruitment)

Develop and execute regional recruitment strategies aligned with workforce needs
-
Build partnerships with colleges, universities, and community organizations
-
Oversee job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview processes
-
Manage internships and student programs
-
Track and report recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost, candidate pipeline)

Maintain candidate databases and reduce recruitment costs
Employee Retention & Engagement

Lead onboarding processes to ensure a strong cultural and operational start

Develop employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives

Promote MHSI as an employer of choice

Support internal communications (e.g., newsletters, messaging)

Strengthen community presence and employee involvement
Training & Development

Design and implement compliance and professional development training programs

Support leadership development and workforce growth initiatives
-
Ensure ongoing staff education aligned with organizational goals
Benefits & Leave Administration

Oversee employee benefits programs, including insurance and retirement plans

Manage leave programs, including FMLA
-
Provide guidance to employees on benefits-related matters
Quality Improvement & Organizational Alignment

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings
-
Support implementation of the PCMH care model
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the HR Director
EVALUATION:
Annual evaluation performed by the HR Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in related field with 4 years in business, or equivalent experience

Working knowledge of total quality management concepts, corporate compliance, human resources, and all applicable computer software

Experience with the operating requirements of primary care programs funded by HRSA preferred
STATUS:
This is a FLSA Exempt position.
