As a Regional Driver, you’ll keep our supply chain moving by safely transporting freight between company locations, customers, plants, and distributors. You’ll operate a tractor-trailer while supporting both drop-and-hook and live load/unload operations and helping ensure our customers receive their products safely and on time.

What You’ll Do
- Operate a tractor-trailer to safely transport and deliver freight to company locations, customers, plants, and distributors.
- Pick up and deliver truckloads of products and materials throughout the region.
- Perform drop-and-hook and live load/unload operations as assigned.
- Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections and follow all DOT requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs and use electronic logging and onboard tracking systems.
- Safely secure loads and maintain trailer seal/security integrity.
- Complete required delivery documentation, including bills of lading, proof of delivery, and trip reports.
- Load and unload products when required.
- Provide professional, dependable service while representing the Perdue brand on the road.
- Help meet business needs by transporting loads outside your normal location, schedule, or customer assignment when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road tractor-trailer driving experience
- Refrigerated trailer experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication skills
- A safety-focused, dependable approach to your work
What to Expect
This is a regional driving position that requires extended travel away from home. 5 days out with a 34 hour reset. You’ll spend time on the road traveling to customers, distributors, plants, and other locations while helping keep Perdue’s operations running smoothly.
You’ll need to be comfortable spending extended periods in the truck, including sleeping, and handling the physical demands of loading and unloading products when required.
