Conducts and assists with the interpretation of various types of echocardiograms, including M-mode, 2-D, 3D, doppler, color flow, and stress echo. Prepares and instructs the patient, performs studies to obtain maximum quality results, cleans and maintains proper functioning of equipment, assists with the teaching of cardiac fellows and students, coordinates monthly staff education sessions. Directs the work of technologists in the absence of supervisory personnel or as instructed by the manager or assistant manager. Assists assistant manager with daily lab operations.
