Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Processor/packer to join our team in a fast-paced food processing plant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are cut to plant specification efficiently and safely, adhering to all food safety regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of food production processes and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Meat Cutting Experience preffered.
Duties
- Accurately cutting boxed meat to product specification for further processing.
- Operate processing machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the fabrication of products as needed, including meat cutting and preparation tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing and production area, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or food processing preferred but not required.
- Ability to use knives and other cutting tools safely and efficiently in a meat cutting environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in food production.
- -Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred but not necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
