We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Caregiver to provide high-quality care to our residents in a supportive and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying needs. We are a smaller Assisted Living community with a river in our back yard, encompassing the up north, homelike feel. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of each resident while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Perform safety checks on residents throughout the night, ensuring safety and proper sleep.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to hygiene standards and conducting regular housekeeping tasks.
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies, utilizing first aid skills when necessary.
- Assist residents with any medical or personal needs throughout the night such as toileting, or potential medication administration.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or assisting residents as needed.
- A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and improving the lives of others.
