About QuotientHR
QuotientHR is a leading HR Operations Advisory firm that partners with organizations to simplify the complex world of people operations. Through expert guidance and a growing suite of innovative products, we help HR teams streamline day-to-day responsibilities, maintain compliance, and free up capacity for strategic people initiatives.
Our clients range from mid-market companies to larger enterprises that want practical, technology-enabled solutions rather than theoretical advice. We sit at the intersection of HR expertise, process design, and modern tools—including AI-assisted workflows—so that HR professionals can focus on what matters most: their people.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, personable Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with HR professionals and decision-makers, champion our transformative HR solutions, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a natural connector with a proven track record in consultative selling—particularly in HR, technology, SaaS, or related professional services. You thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and bring both deep industry insight and a genuine passion for helping clients succeed. You are comfortable owning the full sales cycle from first outreach through close and handoff to customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and Develop Pipeline: Identify and engage potential clients through targeted outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn), networking events, referrals, and strategic account planning. Build a consistent, healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Advisory Selling: Conduct thorough needs assessments, deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations, and tailor solutions that address specific HR operations challenges—from compliance and process efficiency to technology adoption.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term partnerships with HR leaders, influencers, and stakeholders. Become a trusted advisor who understands the client's business context and continues to add value beyond the initial sale.
- Negotiation and Closing: Guide deals through the full sales cycle, negotiate agreements, manage objections, and consistently achieve or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in HR technology and advisory services. Share insights with product and marketing teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience from first contact through onboarding and ongoing success.
- Reporting & CRM Hygiene: Track all activities, pipeline health, forecasts, and outcomes in the CRM with accuracy and timeliness. Provide clear visibility to leadership on progress against goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven Sales Track Record: 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience in HR technology, HR services, SaaS, professional services, or related fields. Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR functions, common operational challenges, and how decisions are made inside HR and people teams. Prior experience selling to HR professionals is highly valued.
- Tech & AI Comfort: Comfortable discussing and demonstrating modern technologies (including AI-enabled tools) and translating complex concepts into clear business value for non-technical buyers.
- Interpersonal Excellence: Highly personable, empathetic communicator with exceptional relationship-building and active listening skills. Able to build rapport and credibility at multiple levels of an organization.
- Network Orientation: Well-connected in professional circles (or highly motivated to build those connections) with the ability to leverage and expand relationships effectively.
- Additional Strengths: Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented. Comfortable with a remote work environment and occasional travel as needed. Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and modern sales technologies.
What We Offer

- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
- Fully remote flexibility with a collaborative, distributed team culture.
- Meaningful opportunities for professional growth in a rapidly evolving HR operations and advisory space.
- Direct exposure to product development and the ability to influence solution direction based on customer insights.
- A collaborative, innovative culture that values creativity, ownership, and real impact on clients' day-to-day work.
