Practice Manager – Interventional Pain Management
Position Summary
Pain Solutions is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Practice Manager to lead the daily operations and financial performance of a growing, physician-led interventional pain management practice.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Practice Manager is responsible for executing the operational plan established by leadership while ensuring the practice consistently achieves its clinical, operational, financial, and patient experience goals.
This is not a traditional office manager position. We are looking for a leader who understands that exceptional patient care and strong financial performance go hand in hand.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Operations (30%)
- Lead the day-to-day operational performance of a busy multi-provider pain management practice.
- Optimize provider schedules, patient flow and operational workflows to maximize patient access, clinic capacity and the patient experience.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, payer expectations, and organizational policies.
- Identify operational issues and implement timely solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Financial & Operational Performance (30%)
- Manage practice operations to achieve budgeted financial and operational goals by driving revenue growth, managing expenses, and improving productivity.
- Monitor, report, and act on key performance indicators, including patient access, provider productivity, scheduling utilization, referral conversion, patient satisfaction, and expense management.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve financial and operational results.
- Partner with Billing, Revenue Cycle, and Finance to improve collections, reduce denials, and support overall financial performance. Partner with leadership team to execute strategic growth initiatives and operational improvements.
- Utilize operational data and dashboards to identify opportunities for improvement.

Team Leadership (30%)
- Recruit, lead, coach, develop, and retain high-performing front office, clinical support, and administrative staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, teamwork, professionalism, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations, establish clear expectations, and recognize high performance.
· Ensure staffing levels appropriately support patient demand and operational performance.

Physician & ASC Partnership (10%)
· Partner closely with physicians to support efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care.
- Partner with the Ambulatory Surgery Center leadership to ensure seamless patient flow, scheduling, staffing, and the patient experience.
- Proactively resolve operational issues affecting providers, staff, or patients.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare management experience, preferably in a physician practice or ambulatory setting.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics.
- Strong understanding of physician practice operations, scheduling, revenue cycle, and healthcare finance.
- Proven ability to lead teams through change while building engagement and accountability.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with process improvement or quality improvement methods is a plus.
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation tied to organizational and operational goals.
