Job Description:
Assist individuals with activities that may include any task or tasks of direct benefit to the individual that would generally be performed independently by persons without intellectual/developmental disabilities such as personal care, meals, shopping, errands, scheduling appointments, chores, and leisure activities.
Assist individuals with mobility- including but not limited to transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices.
Escorting the individual to community activities and appointments.
Provide transportation for individual.
Provide ongoing employment support services that enable an individual to maintain integrated competitive employment in a community setting.
Provide to individuals or a group of individuals person-centered, monitoring, training, education, demonstration, or support to assist the individual with acquisition and retention of skills such as leisure activities and community/public events, education activities, hobbies, unpaid work experience, and maintain contact with family and friends.
Provide training and education in self-direction designed to help individuals or a group of individuals develop self-advocacy skills, exercise civil rights, acquire skills that enable self-control and responsibility for services and supports received or needed, and acquire skills that enable the individual to become more independent, integrated, or productive in the community.
Provide input for reviews of PCIPSs. Be responsible for implementing goals and objectives for clients needing community support and/or participant assistance as outlined in the PCISP.
Maintain daily logs of activities with individuals served.
Attend in-service trainings as scheduled and complete required online trainings by due dates
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
