Overview
Join our dynamic security team as an unarmed Security Shift Supervisor for the third shift, where you will lead a dedicated team of officers responsible for maintaining safe and secure environments at each of our contracted locations. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee security operations during overnight hours, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets. As the main leader on your shift, you will oversee officer conduct, manage incident responses, and enforce security protocols with energy and professionalism. Your proactive approach will help foster a secure atmosphere that supports our operational excellence and peace of mind. Scheduled days/times: 5 days = Thursday to Monday 11pm-7am (each day) Off Tuesday & Wednesday. Starting pay: $22/Hr. (paydays are weekly)
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate security personnel during the third shift to ensure continuous coverage and effective response to incidents
- Conduct regular mobile patrols and visual inspections of each premises to identify potential security risks, breaches, and conduct officer inspections
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external assistance
- Enforce Client policies (to the security staff) that is required for each location: monitoring for theft, vandalism, or unauthorized activities and taking appropriate action
- Maintain detailed shift reports and necessary documentation of all activities
- Work any open (unfilled) scheduled site during 3rd shift
- Train 3rd shift officers (as needed) for any specific contracted site
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in security operations and/or supervision
- Good driving record (and valid Driver's License)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage officers effectively during overnight hours
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and external agencies as needed
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining professionalism
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans
