Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Conduct detailed floor care routines including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors to uphold safety and aesthetic standards.
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to guarantee guest comfort and operational efficiency.
- Follow established protocols for sanitation and infection control to promote a healthy environment for guests and staff alike.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold property standards.
- Support housekeeping management with inventory control and documentation of cleaning activities to maintain accountability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or similar hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial equipment operation.
- Prior experience with industrial cleaning tools or equipment is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and customer service principles is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy objects when necessary.
