Job Overview
We are launching 6-bed residential detox treatment program and we are hiring a Program Director to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on operations and compliance leadership role for someone who can build strong systems, supervise staff, and keep day-to-day program delivery running smoothly.
Core Duties
- Oversee daily program operations and ensure services are delivered as designed
- Implement and enforce program policies and procedures
- Facilitate group counseling sessions & 1:1 counseling/case management sessions
- Maintain compliance readiness and support inspections, site visits, and corrective actions as needed
- Supervise and support clinical staff, including hiring support, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure documentation and client records meet program and confidentiality requirements
- Monitor quality, incidents, grievances, and continuous performance improvement efforts
- Coordinate with leadership and external partners to keep operations organized and on track

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Open availability 7 days per week to support the program and staff
- Minimum 2 years of experience in substance use disorder treatment in an outpatient or comparable setting
- EHR knowledge, preferably in KIPU or similar systems
- Experience with program operations, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance
- Certified AOD Counselor with a DHCS-approved certifying organization (such as CADTP or CCAPP)
- Strong understanding of residential detox program requirements and quality standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional presence
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals seeking treatment and recovery support
- Background check and TB clearance completed within required timeframes (and maintained annually)
