Job Summary
Our practice culture and our team are very important to us. We are seeking a detail-oriented, warm, dependable surgical assistant who desires a long-term position in a private dental practice. In addition to surgical assisting, we provide training for taking CBCTs, intraoral scanning and photography. Responsibilities
- Assist periodontists during various surgical procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring a clean, organized environment in accordance with aseptic techniques.
- Take dental radiographs, including full mouth series and 3D CBCT scans, and intraoral Trios scans.
- Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide chairside assistance by handling dental instruments, suctioning, and maintaining patient comfort throughout procedures.
- Support patient education by explaining procedures, post-treatment care instructions, and answering questions related to dental terminology and treatment plans.
Pay: From $34.00 per hour
