advanced responsibilities, and work under the mentorship of an experienced Accounting
Specialist / Full-Charge Bookkeeper with the opportunity for advancement.
What You’ll Do
You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, administrative support, and operational
coordination to help keep financial data accurate and the office running smoothly.
Primary Responsibilities
Enter vendor invoices, match POs, and prepare weekly payment runs
Process customer invoices and confirm pricing accuracy
Assist with AR collections, payment posting, and account updates
Support inventory control through data entry, cycle counts & freight claims follow-
up
Reconcile bank and credit card transactions in QuickBooks
Maintain customer and vendor records, credit forms & contact directories
Perform daily reporting tasks including EOD reports and sales summaries
Prepare supporting documents for monthly close and audits
Assist with HR support tasks (onboarding paperwork, benefits coordination, etc.)
Manage company calendar, office supplies, and administrative requests
Support warehouse and operations departments when needed
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams in a professional
manner
Performance Expectations
You will be successful if you:
Accurately complete daily reporting and task checklist by end of shift
Help maintain clean, organized accounting records and documentation
Support the Accounting Specialist II/Full-Charge Bookkeeper in monthly close
Maintain a consistent error-free standard in data entry & reconciliations
Improve response times for invoicing and payment processing
Build cross-department communication and follow-through
What You Bring
Required
1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Working knowledge of QuickBooks (Enterprise preferred but not required)
Solid Excel & Google Workspace skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven
Strong communication skills & willingness to ask questions
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred
Experience with inventory-driven or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with LTL freight claims, landing costs, or overseas transactions
Desire to grow into a higher role (Accounting Specialist II or Supervisor track)
