Compensation: Instructional Aide Salary Schedule
Overtime Status: Exempt
Position Summary: The Instructional Aide specializing in STEM enrichment provides targeted academic support to students. This position works under the direction of certified staff to implement structured enrichment activities in a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred: Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in reading support
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide small group and one-on-one instruction using research-based enrichment programs
Support students in developing creative thinking and critical thinking skills
Implement teacher-directed lessons
Assist with progress monitoring, data collection, and documentation of student performance
Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, and gifted education staff to support student learning goals
Prepare instructional materials and organize enrichment resources
Maintain a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment
Assist with classroom management and student engagement as needed
Ensure confidentiality of student information
