Hotel Manager – Seasons Florida Resort
Seasons Florida Resort is seeking an experienced, hands-on Hotel Manager to lead daily hotel operations and help drive exceptional guest service, team performance, and operational results.
We are looking for a proven hotel operations leader who has already held a Hotel Manager or Assistant General Manager (AGM) position and is ready to take the next step in their career.
This is a leadership role for someone who understands hotel operations from the ground up and is comfortable taking ownership of the guest experience, staff performance, operational standards, and day-to-day decision-making.
About the Role
The Hotel Manager will oversee the daily operation of the property, working closely with the General Manager to ensure the hotel consistently meets standards for guest service, cleanliness, efficiency, and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day hotel operations.
- Provide direction, coaching, and accountability to department managers and hotel staff.
- Maintain high standards of guest service and promptly address guest concerns.
- Monitor front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and other operational functions.
- Ensure hotel policies, procedures, safety standards, and service expectations are consistently followed.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, performance management, and team development.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with the General Manager on operational goals, staffing, budgets, and property initiatives.
- Maintain a strong presence throughout the property and lead by example.
- Help create a positive, professional, and accountable hotel culture.
- Be available to respond to operational needs and provide leadership when unexpected situations arise.
Required Experience
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- At least 2 years of experience working specifically as a Hotel Manager or Assistant General Manager (AGM) in a hotel.
- Demonstrated responsibility for direct hotel operations leadership, including managing staff, departments, guest service, and daily property operations.
- A track record of successfully leading hotel teams and maintaining operational standards.
- Schedule flexibility, including the ability to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings or early mornings as hotel operations require.
Important: This position requires prior experience in the Hotel Manager or Assistant General Manager role. Candidates whose experience has been limited to supervisory, department-manager, front desk, housekeeping, sales, or other hotel positions without prior Hotel Manager/AGM experience will not meet the minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a hotel with 100+ rooms preferred.
- Experience overseeing multiple hotel departments.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, staffing, scheduling, and guest service.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Experience with hotel operating systems and property-management systems.
- Strong understanding of operational performance and financial results.
Schedule & Leadership Expectations
Hotel operations require flexibility, and the Hotel Manager must be willing to adjust their schedule based on the needs of the property.
The ideal candidate is comfortable with a flexible management schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, early mornings, and occasional schedule changes when operational circumstances require additional leadership coverage.
This is a hands-on leadership position, and the Hotel Manager is expected to maintain a visible presence throughout the property and be available to support the team when important operational issues arise.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a hands-on hotel operations leader who has already demonstrated success as a Hotel Manager or AGM. You should be comfortable being visible on the property, holding teams accountable, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring that both guests and employees have a positive experience.
We are less concerned with having a perfect career history than with finding someone who has real, direct hotel management experience and the leadership ability to run a successful operation.
