Amanda Nalewalski Mental Health Counseling PLLC (https://www.nalewalski-mhc.com) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join a growing private practice. This opportunity is ideal for clinicians who value flexibility, meaningful therapeutic relationships, and work/life balance without the demands of managing a private practice independently.
We are looking for a clinician with at least three years of experience who is committed to providing excellent clinical care to clients in our community. This contractor (1099) role offers the flexibility to create your own schedule and work remotely or hybrid with some in-office work, based on your preferences.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and/or couples therapy within your preferred areas of clinical specialty.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and ethical clinical documentation in compliance with insurance requirements and professional standards.
- Adhere to all state and federal confidentiality regulations and ethical guidelines to maintain professional licensure.
- Complete all required continuing education requirements associated with licensure.
- Maintain an active professional liability insurance policy throughout the duration of the contract.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
- Active and unrestricted LMHC license in New York State.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently.
- Experience working with adolescents (ages 13–17) and adults (18+) preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
