Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items with precision and efficiency
- Cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and safety standards in production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food handling and safety protocols
- Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation to uphold food safety standards
- Assist with catering events and special meal preparations as needed
- Serve guests promptly and courteously when required, supporting overall food service operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Strong knife skills with slicing technique expertise to ensure efficient food prep
- Familiarity with safety standards in production and food handling practices
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety management
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting colleagues
