Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring experienced Welders/Fitters for a reputable and well-established manufacturing company located in Canonsburg, PA. This is a full-time, evaluation-to-hire opportunity with a competitive starting pay of $28/hour, plus the potential for pay increases, benefits, and union membership once hired permanently by the client.
Welding/Fitter Job Responsibilities

Perform layout and fabrication of metal components based on engineered drawings, blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.

Operate welding and burning equipment with accuracy and attention to detail.

Conduct hand burning, grinding, and minor welding equipment repairs as needed.

Read and interpret blueprints to layout and shoot studs according to project specifications.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe weld/fabrication area in compliance with company safety standards.

Adhere to company attendance policies and contribute to team production goals.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or project leads.
Qualifications
-
Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 lbs frequently without assistance.

Skilled in reading tape measures, interpreting blueprints, and following layout procedures.

Strong manual dexterity, math skills, and attention to detail.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must pass a mandatory welding skills test and math evaluation.
Pay Rate

$28.00/hour

Eligible for pay increase and benefits package upon hire by client
