We are looking to hire an Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for our Denver Location!
At the Raleigh House, BHTs provide structure and supervision for clients in the milieu, as well as an important source of role modeling appropriate boundaries, communication, and responsibility. BHTs may assist with facilitating some groups, medication administration, chores, and managing schedules and transportation.

Essential Functions:
- Maintain a schedule of events and activities. Participate with clients at scheduled events to model healthy engagements and positive attitudes.
- Conduct UA drug and breathalyzer testing. Assure chain of custody and complete documentation.
- Track attendance of clients throughout your shift at groups, sessions, activities, and events.
- Oversee milieu during shift: chores, activities and interactions, routine checks and vitals.
- Participate in transitioning new clients into including reviewing rules/expectations, scheduling, chore assignments, schedule, etc.
- Observe the environment and remedy or report maintenance issues.
- Facilitate check-in/out meetings, milieu meetings, mindfulness/meditation, and psycho-education groups; provide full and appropriate documentation of such in the EMR within 24 hours of provision.
- Maintain communication with clinical staff about dynamics, behavior, events, and other required-to-report issues; in certain substantial/critical events, may be required to provide critical incident reports or other documenting accounts.
Education and Other Employment Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CAC/CAT preferred, not required.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable form of transportation.
- Experience with treatment facilities and/or addictions and mental health populations preferred.
- Must undergo a pre employment drug screen.

Hourly Pay Starting at: $22 - $24 an hour
