We have an immediate need for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (VI/TVI) for the entire 2026-2027 school year.
Position Details
- Title: Special Education Teacher - Visually Impaired (TVI)

- Schedule: Full-Time
- Pay Rate: $65-75; Travel packages available
- Setting: K-12 School District
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments.
- Teach Braille, assistive technology, and compensatory skills as needed.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials for student accessibility.
- Conduct vision-related educational assessments.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student accommodations and support.

Qualifications
- California credential/authorization to teach students with visual impairments.
- Valid Teaching Credential with appropriate TVI authorization.
- English Learner Authorization.
- Experience working with students who are blind or visually impaired preferred.
- Knowledge of Braille and assistive technology strongly preferred.
