Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using hotel management systems such as OPERA or Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Manage guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations efficiently through hospitality reservation systems.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain clear communication via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while managing multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Conduct night audits when required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed and recorded.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly to ensure guest safety and operational continuity in all situations.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with familiarity in hotel management software like OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS).
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, client communication, and hospitality excellence.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to handle unforeseen incidents confidently.
- Excellent phone communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette to manage inquiries efficiently.
- Experience with night audit procedures and resort operations is preferred for a comprehensive understanding of hotel functions.
- Ability to solve customer service problems swiftly while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure.
