The bartender’s primary objective is to fulfill and exceed guests’ expectations by providing friendly, attentive service with amazing, hand crafted cocktails & "Enlightened Hospitality". Bartenders need to be entertainers, service professionals, regulators, therapists, and able to represent all the establishment stands for while maintaining accuracy in making drinks and keeping multiple tabs organized.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome and greet guests with enthusiasm! Make all our guests feel comfortable and excited to be at Max’s. Let them know he or she is there to personally take care of them.

Guide guest through the menus, both food & beverage

Make recommendations that he or she genuinely feels our guests will enjoy.

Answer questions about our food, beverages and restaurant decor/history.

Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system.

Help deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.

Perform side work at the start and end of each shifts as required.

Ensure that all par for prepped ingredients and liquor is up to date before start of service.

Maintain a ‘clean as you go’ mindset in order to keep service areas clean and ensure everything is in its place.

Monitor and observe guests dining experience.

Execute signature cocktails using proper technique and with proper measurements.

Use jiggers to measure out proportions for all ingredients.

Ensure guests are satisfied. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.

Keep organized track of guest’s tabs and corresponding held credit cards.

Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable).

Report any shortage of product to team and bar manager.

Keep a record of any waste.

Assist fellow servers as situations arise.

Be entertainers! We are all on a stage.

Ensure that no guest who appears intoxicated gets served anymore alcohol and inform fellow bartenders and management right away.

Assist barbacks with clearing and resetting bar top & tables.

Thank guest for their visit and invite them to return.

Fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the manager on duty.
QUALIFICATIONS

At least 21 years old.
-
High energy.
-
Able to work nights and weekends, as well as holidays.
-
At least two years of serving alcohol with food.
