Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle buses, to transport passengers efficiently between airport terminals, parking areas, and other designated locations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with luggage, answering questions, and ensuring a welcoming experience
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness; perform routine maintenance checks as needed
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to maintain a safe driving environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers using clear language and professional communication skills
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or maintenance needs
- Adhere to schedules while demonstrating flexibility to accommodate changing passenger demands
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and assist with maintenance or repairs when necessary
- Proven experience in paratransit, bus driving, limousine services, or school bus driving; familiarity with motor coach or shuttle driving preferred
- Valid clean driving record required
- Excellent communication skills in English for interacting confidently with passengers and team members
- Previous delivery driver experience is a plus, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Knowledge of transportation safety protocols and adherence to federal and state regulations
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor that enhances passenger satisfaction
