Overview:
The Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified applicants for Substitute Paraprofessional position Classroom/Special Education Aides.
These substitute positions are on an as-needed basis and hours can range per day.
Pay Rate:
$16.50 per hour
Job Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit, with ESEA endorsement issued by ODE or willing to complete the process to obtain this credential prior to starting
- High school diploma/GED equivalency, college level training preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with assistive technology preferred
- Ability to communicate well with others both orally and in written communication
- Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed
- Must be respectful and work collaboratively with peers
- Must be dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations
- Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
