We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Janitorial Operations Lead/Driver to join our team! This role supports the Daytime Operations Manager by helping to oversee the successful completion of janitorial projects across NYC, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is comfortable working independently or in teams, and is experienced with janitorial maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with oversight and coordination of day-to-day cleaning projects at multiple sites
Fill in for supply deliveries and ensure timely and accurate drop-offs
Perform janitorial duties as needed, including floor care, deep cleaning, and maintenance tasks
Help troubleshoot issues onsite and report updates to the manager
Support with team supervision, quality control, and compliance with safety standards
Communicate effectively with staff, managers, and clients as needed
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to drive a company vehicle throughout NYC’s boroughs
Basic janitorial/maintenance knowledge required
Floor work experience strongly preferred (stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet shampooing)
Must be able to lift and transport supplies and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Work Hours:
This is a full-time, non-exempt role with flexible hours ranging from 30 to 45 per week, depending on business needs.
