Murphy Dental & Implant Center is a privately owned, growing dental practice. We are committed to providing high-quality care in a patient-centered environment. As our practice continues to expand, we're looking to add a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to our team.
Position Overview: We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team for 1-2 days a week, with the potential to increase days as our patient base grows. The workday is flexible, allowing you to choose the day that best fits your schedule. This position is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current hours or for a hygienist interested in growing with our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and periodontal health.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting. Take x-rays as needed.
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and office procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
- Proficiency in periodontal maintenance and scaling and root planing.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a periodontal office is preferred but not required.
