Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Young Dancer Instructor to inspire and nurture the youngest of our next generation of dancers. In this role, you will lead engaging dance classes tailored for children and young learners, fostering their creativity, coordination, and love for the performing arts. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help cultivate a positive learning environment where students can develop their skills, express themselves artistically, and build confidence through movement. Responsibilities
- Design Classes following the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum and implement age-appropriate best practices.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all participants
- Plan engaging lesson plans that integrate visual arts, performing arts, or early childhood education principles to enrich the learning experience
Skills
- Strong background in dance instruction with experience teaching children or youth programs
- Expertise in early childhood or preschool-aged learners
- Proficiency in ballet and classroom management skills
- American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum certification is a plus
- Ability to foster a positive environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence in young students
- Familiarity with lesson planning, childhood development principles, and classroom experience in arts education
Join us as a Young Dancer Instructor and help ignite a lifelong passion for dance! The right candidate is interested in helping grow the Young Dancer Program for ages 3-7. With the strength of enrollment there are opportunities to take on more classes. Saturday availability is a must.
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
