JOB SUMMARY
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for organizing and directing hospice care services and is experienced in nursing with emphasis on community health education/experience. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with other health care professionals in the assessment, planning, and safe implementation of all nursing care.
- Be a resident advocate where the resident is the center of all we do.
- Ensure excellent communication among residents, families, and staff.
- Administer medication accurately and efficiently.
- Create positive resident outcomes.
- Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.
- Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
- Help create a culture of superior customer service.

REQUIREMENTS
- Clear and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 2 years of Hospice experience, preferred
- Clear and valid Drivers License
- Current CPR
- Supervisor skills
- Successful criminal background check
- Subject to pre-employment drug testing
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time
