Duties
- Safely and efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
- Clear and reset tables quickly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary needs
- Support servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and attending to guest needs promptly
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and billing assistance
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes carefully and maintaining cleanliness throughout service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, including serving, bussing, or food handling roles
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros enhances efficiency in order processing
- Experience in banquet settings or hotel hospitality adds valuable versatility to your skill set
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques is essential for maintaining health standards
- Strong communication skills are vital for coordinating with team members and providing excellent guest service
- Kitchen or culinary experience helps in understanding food presentation and timing for optimal service delivery
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude is highly desirable
