Role Overview: As a Merchandise Allocator, you’ll ensure our 93+ stores are stocked with the perfect mix of products to drive sales and delight customers. You’ll leverage data to optimize inventory, troubleshoot discrepancies, and collaborate with buyers to refine assortment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize inventory across 93+ stores based on sales trends, forecasts, and store-specific needs to achieve 95%+ inventory accuracy.
- Analyze weekly and seasonal performance data to maximize profitability and reduce stock issues like negative inventory or transfer errors.
- Partner with buyers to refine assortment strategies.
- Build deep store knowledge through data insights and collaboration with field teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1-3 years of experience in retail inventory optimization, allocation strategy, or a similar analytical role—fashion retail experience is a plus!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., JDA, SAP, or similar).
- Strong retail analytics skills, with expertise in metrics like sell-through rates, turnover, and open-to-buy.
- A problem-solver with a passion for spotting trends and driving results.
