Responsibilities
-
Understanding and practicing our mission, values, and objectives

Cuts, weighs, or measures ingredients according to provided instructions

Prevents the spoilage of ingredients through proper storage in designated containers and in designated area

Monitors the temperature of food and food storage areas
-
Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains cleanliness of work areas, surfaces, utensils, equipment, and dishes

Adheres to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant
-
Wash all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses
-
Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas
Required Qualifications

Must have experience cooking over high heat using a sauté pan

Skilled in building dishes with multiple layers consistently
-
Must be able to prepare multiple high-quality dishes with speed and precision
-
Highly skilled in preparing sauces and ingredients
-
Possess great listening skills with an eagerness to follow directions

Must be able to work well as part of a team and independently, while maintaining a high level of accountability

Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment

Stand for prolonged periods of time and handle products, tools, paperwork, and equipment.
