JOB PURPOSE: Provide services to improve the efficiency of production operations. This service will be in the form of tool/controls design, project assignments, and efficiency studies of production processes.
MEASUREMENT FACTORS: Timely, accurate, effective, activities to proper standards or procedures.
Assist Departments by drawing/designing details in AutoCAD.
Develop and/or modify electrical controls and software in relation to safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
Assist Departments with process, production, and quality problems and recommend solutions.
Production Efficiency Awareness
Assist Departments by analyzing production processes and identifying specific areas needing improvement.
Project Management
Will be assigned projects and will be required to take the lead to achieve project goals.
Production Support Documentation
Assist team with writing/updating process flow layouts, Process Failure Mode Engineering Analysis, Control Plans, and Operator Instructions.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Two years schooling required toward a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Manufacturing/Engineering/Industrial Technology with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or programming languages preferred. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Must work well with others. Good organizational skills required.
