Mike's Heating and Air, Inc. is hiring experienced service techs to join our team. We are looking for someone with a good attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to grow. We service residential and commercial units, energy management systems (EMS), boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and more. A company truck with a service bed will be provided. Our company provides six paid holidays, up to three weeks vacation and one week sick pay. This is a permanent full-time position with room to advance.
Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of HVAC Service experience
- Perform service of HVAC related equipment following company policies and manufacturer’s specifications
- Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering
- Create and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with both superiors and co-workers
- Ensure all paperwork needed for each job is accurately filled out
- Perform any other duty that may be directed by management.
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience in boiler, chiller, copper fitting, black pipe threading/grooving/fitting, and control systems experience is preferred but not required
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Service a wide range of HVAC and mechanical equipment.
- Provide maintenance to a wide range of HVAC and mechanical equipment.
- Meet and maintain the high company standards of workmanship and professionalism.
- Analyze and perform on work orders; gather components, parts, and tools needed to complete repairs.
- Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs and/or records
- Maintain client relations by giving remarkable service with strong communication and customer service skills
- Update knowledge by being a lifelong student and participating in educational opportunities
