About the Position
Hampton Inn & Suites Salida is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team!
Our housekeeping team plays an important role in making sure our guests have a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with a team, and can maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and mop
- Replenish towels, linens, and guest room amenities
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways and other assigned areas
- Follow proper cleaning and safety procedures
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Report maintenance issues or damaged items to management
- Provide friendly and professional service to our guests
- Work as part of a team to ensure rooms are ready for check-in
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of housekeeping, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and pushing/pulling cleaning equipment
Important Scheduling Requirement
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Hotel occupancy and business needs can vary, so flexibility with scheduling is important. This position is ideal for someone who understands that weekends and holidays are part of the hospitality industry.
