Worksource Oregon is helping a local convenience store/gas station fill positions for all shifts for a new store opening in NE Portland. This employer is looking for Cooks to cover the Krispy Krunchy Chicken and Cinnabon areas of the store.
JOB DUTIES:
Prepare food according to recipes and food safety standards.
Operate fryers, grills, and other commercial kitchen equipment.
Clean fryers, grills, prep stations, floors, and kitchen equipment.
Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware; maintained a sanitary work environment.
Receive deliveries and put away product using FIFO inventory rotation.
Stock food, supplies, and ingredients throughout shifts.
Assist with food prep, portioning, labeling, and storage.
Follow health department, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and cleanliness.
Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior experience working in a kitchen preferred
Strong teamwork and customer service skills
Able to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Able to stand for long periods of time
Reliable and solid work ethic
