Job Overview
We are a growing small business seeking a self-starter, motivated, and detail oriented PartTime Bookkeeper to support our day to day operations. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, works well independently, and is comfortable managing accounting tasks with minimal supervision. You’ll play an important role in keeping our invoicing, collections, and payment processes running smoothly using QuickBooks Online.
Responsibilities
- Create, issue, and track customer invoices
- Manage collections by monitoring outstanding balances and following up with customers
- Enter vendor bills and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
- Process customer payments (ACH, credit card, and checks) and apply them correctly
- Support sales activities with billing and administrative assistance as needed
- Maintain organized digital financial records
- Assist with monthend close and basic financial reporting
- Communicate proactively with management regarding issues, discrepancies, or process improvement
- Qualifications
- Prior bookkeeping or accounting support experience
- Strong handson experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Selfstarter mentality with the motivation to manage tasks independently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable communicating with customers regarding invoices and payments
- Solid understanding of invoicing, collections, and bill entry
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a small business environment
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
