A Materials Analyst is manage obsolete inventory records and support product rationalization efforts to meet business targets. Provide guidance on data quality and content accuracy through data entry, information validation via phone and internet research, and reporting of validation results.
Mon- Fri 8:00 am 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $25.05
Responsibilities
- Maintain record of all obsolete inventories and recommend improvements to all product rationalization process and ensure achievement of all targets.
- Provide support and guidance on data quality and data content
- Tasks may include data entry into spreadsheets, validating information via the internet or the phone, and generating reports about your validation results.
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, preferably including previous use of formulas, sorting and filtering, and pivot tables (desired, but not required)
- Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint presentation software.
Qualifications
- Two years’ experience as an Inventory Control Clerk or similar position
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to operate a PC and input data
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- In-depth knowledge of inventory products and processes
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel on occasion
- Ability to work independently
