Margot Lamson Therapy is a growing holistic, trauma-focused psychotherapy group delivering deep, whole-person care. We are seeking to hire an EMDR Psychotherapist. Our work blends EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and body-based/somatic modalities (e.g., Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing) and attachment-based psychotherapy with a warm, relational style.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly W-2 compensation with transparent ramp-up
- Modest annual training stipend (courses/CE, licensure renewals; policy-based)
- Consultation & mentorship in EMDR, IFS, Somatic approaches
- A supportive, low-ego culture that balances warmth + accountability
- A potential growth path to salaried clinician, leadership roles and/or opportunities to help shape intensives and future programming
We serve working professionals and creatives navigating trauma (acute, relational), anxiety, perfectionism, ADHD/neurodivergence, dissociation, and life transitions. We support adults navigating anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, ADHD/neurodivergence, and identity-related stressors, including LGBTQIA+ clients, BIPOC communities, immigrants/first-gen, and those from diverse faith and cultural traditions. We also offer extended sessions and therapy intensives (90–180+ min, full-day options) for clients who benefit from deeper, more complete processing. We help clients move from “managing” to meaningful transformation—pairing relational warmth with body-based, evidence-driven care.
Mission: Provide trauma-informed, holistic care that helps clients reconnect with themselves, break unhelpful patterns, and experience lasting well-being.
Vision: Therapy as transformation—not just coping—through mind-body healing, relational support, and lifelong growth.
Values: Humility (client as expert; lifelong learning) Collaboration (healing in relationship, strong team culture) Inclusivity & Justice (affirming, culturally responsive, systemic awareness) Excellence (advanced training; compassion + skill).
The Role
We’re welcoming a full-time EMDR therapist (W-2, hourly) to provide high-quality, trauma-informed psychotherapy via telehealth (and optional in-person, if/when available). You’ll carry a steady caseload of weekly clients and/or extended sessions/intensives, with strong clinical autonomy, collaborative consultation, and structured mentorship.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy (45–60 min) and, if aligned, 90–180+ min intensives using EMDR (as needed) along with IFS/somatic approaches
- Create clear treatment plans, track outcomes, and complete timely notes in our HIPAA-compliant EHR
- Coordinate care with outside providers as needed; uphold ethics, privacy, and boundaries
- Engage in weekly consultation/mentorship and ongoing learning consistent with our values of humility & excellence. If you are working towards EMDR certification, certain consultation hours will count towards that.
- Contribute to a warm, inclusive, team-oriented culture
