Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance across all operations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, root cause analysis, and incident investigations to identify risks and develop corrective action plans.
- Lead safety training sessions focused on hazard recognition, emergency response procedures such as CPR and first aid, hazardous materials handling, and environmental management systems.
- Manage workers' compensation claims process in accordance with workers' compensation law and ensure proper documentation through detailed report writing.
- Monitor environmental health standards related to occupational health, environmental health regulations, and environmental compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to foster a safety-conscious culture by promoting workplace safety initiatives and employee engagement programs.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, training activities, and compliance documentation for internal review and regulatory audits.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations, environmental management systems, hazardous materials regulations, and workplace safety standards.
- Certifications in first aid (including CPR), OSHA safety standards, EPA regulations, and environmental regulatory compliance are highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and report writing for incident investigations and compliance documentation.
- Knowledge of occupational health practices, environmental health standards, and legal requirements related to workers' compensation law.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver effective training & development sessions tailored to diverse teams.
- Ability to perform hazard assessments, conduct safety audits, and implement corrective actions efficiently.
- A proactive mindset with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple compliance programs simultaneously.

Pay: $79,459.30 - $95,692.92 per year
