Job Summary
Children's House Montessori East is seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. As a Montessori Teacher, you will create a stimulating classroom that promotes independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Your role is vital in guiding children through their developmental milestones, fostering social-emotional growth, and supporting their individual needs through innovative teaching methods rooted in Montessori principles.

Duties
- Design and implement engaging Montessori curriculum tailored to the developmental stages of preschool and toddler-aged children
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment that encourages exploration and independence
- Develop individualized lesson plans based on each child's interests, abilities, and progress assessments
- Monitor and document children's growth through observations, assessments, and standardized testing where applicable
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's development, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments
- Strong knowledge of Montessori teaching methods and curriculum development principles
- Familiarity with childhood development milestones, behavior management techniques, and special education practices
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and specialists
- Classroom management skills to maintain an organized, engaging learning environment
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning
- Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori teaching preferred; relevant coursework or experience in special education or early intervention is a plus
