Weekends and PRN
Mental Illness is more prevalent than ever. As the leading (and largest) free-standing psychiatric hospital in Atlanta, Peachford is here to help. We are looking for experienced, master’s prepared Therapists to join our Adult Partial Hospitalization Team as we expand our services to meet the needs of our community.
Currently we are searching for PRN Therapist to help cover weekends as well as additional PRN shifts as available. Full time opportunities may also be available.
Peachford Hospital has been a leader in behavioral health and addictive disease treatment since 1973. Our 246 bed facility treats nearly 10,000 children, adults and seniors every year who come seeking the best psychiatric and addicitive disease care available. Our hospital is located on a 38 acre wooded campus in Dunwoody and over 500 incredibly talented employees call us home.

We train you to be the best, but there are a few minimum requirements for this position:
Education
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work or other mental health field required
Experience
- Two years of mental health counseling experience
- Inpatient or outpatient experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- LCSW, LMFT, LPC, CADC preferred; License eligibility required.
Other Helpful Skills
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Skills in case management.
- Knowledge of acute psychological disorders, and advanced principals of abnormal psychology.
- Familiarity with follow-up resource services available to patients.
- Skills in conducting group therapy.
- Skills in conducting individual therapy.
- Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential.
- Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.
