Part-Time Front Office Assistant
Dominique Moceanu Gymnastics Center (DMGC) – Medina, Ohio
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–5:00 PM
Additional Hours: Select Saturdays (8:30-1p a few times a month and/or 4-8p once a month) and special events

About the Position
Dominique Moceanu Gymnastics Center is seeking a dependable, professional, friendly, and highly organized Part-Time Front Office Assistant to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families, children, and a busy team environment and is looking for a consistent afternoon schedule during the week.
Our primary need is Monday through Thursday from 2:00–5:00 PM. Applicants should be able to consistently commit to these hours.
There will also be opportunities for additional hours during select weekend shifts and special events throughout the year.
Regular Schedule
- Monday: 2:00–5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 2:00–5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 2:00–5:00 PM
- Thursday: 2:00–5:00 PM
- Fridays: No regular shift required
Occasional Weekend Availability
Additional weekend availability is preferred for:
- Select Saturdays from approximately 8:30 AM–1:00 PM
- Occasional Saturday special events, approximately 4:00–8:00 PM
- Some weekend shifts may only occur once per month or as special programming requires
Weekend hours are not necessarily required every week. If you'd like a few Saturdays a month, we are open to this being more consistent as well!
Responsibilities
The Front Office Assistant serves as an important point of contact for DMGC families and helps keep our daily operations organized and running smoothly.
Responsibilities may include:
- Greeting athletes, parents, visitors, and prospective families
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls
- Responding to basic parent questions regarding classes, schedules, programs, and enrollment
- Assisting families with registration and account questions
- Checking athletes in and helping manage front office traffic
- Processing payments and completing basic office transactions
- Monitoring and responding to emails as directed
- Maintaining accurate records and completing basic data entry
- Communicating information between parents, coaches, and management
- Assisting with class enrollment and waitlist information
- Keeping the front desk, lobby, and office areas organized and professional
- Assisting with special events, intensives, camps, meets, and other DMGC programming when scheduled
- Learning and following DMGC office procedures, policies, and customer-service expectations
- Completing other reasonable administrative duties as needed

Previous experience in customer service, reception, office administration, youth sports, gymnastics, dance, education, childcare, or a family-focused business is helpful but not required for the right candidate.
Training will be provided.
Availability Requirements
Candidates must have reliable availability Monday through Thursday from 2:00–5:00 PM.
Because consistency is extremely important to our front office operations, please apply only if you can reliably maintain this schedule throughout the school year.
Some Saturday availability is preferred but can be discussed during the interview process.
