Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Armed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your expertise in conflict management, law enforcement procedures, and emergency response will be vital in maintaining a secure environment. Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the facility using CCTV systems, security checks, and verification protocols.
- Conduct regular surveillance patrols throughout the premises to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
- Enforce security policies by inspecting visitors, staff, and contractors to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.
- Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records for accountability and review.
- Escort employees outside while trashes are being taken out and unlock/lock bins for staff.
- Clean cut & clean shave if you facia hair.
- Good hygiene & uniform on point.
- Bilingual English & Spanish is a plus.
- BSIS Guard card required
- BSIS Exposed Firearms permit
- Black work boots
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CCTV surveillance systems, loss prevention techniques, and conflict resolution strategies.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
